Lil B @ 3 years 5 months
We had wanted to bring Lil B to the movie on several occasions. However, he wasn’t interested to tag along.
Lately he has been very clingy to Mommy. So when Ryan expressed his intention to watch Monster University, we took the opportunity to drag him along.
This time we succeeded. Hurray!
Initially, he was reluctant to sit on his own seat but he later warmed up and

We brought Ryan to PJ Live Arts @ Jaya One to watch the play of The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark.
About the play:
Presented by the UK’s Blunderbus Theatre Company, ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’ follows Plop, a baby barn owl, on his journeys into the night-time world of campfires, fireworks and moonlit adventures. Based on the bestselling children’s classic by Jill Tomlinson, watch the story come to life with live music, puppetry and storytelling.
We reached there on time, albeit at the verge of getting late. No thanks to the poor and confusing layout of Jaya One. Whoever designed the place ought to be banned from anymore architectural projects.
Anyway, the play was entertaining and our dear Ryan had a blast. Never mind the Daddy found it boring. He he.. 😂😂
Ryan chose to take picture with the dog Spike because coincidently the name Spike is what he has been planning to name his own dog, when he eventually gets one (His Daddy promised Ryan would get his wish fulfilled when the latter could prove to us he’s mature and independent enough to take care of himself; plus provided he’ll try his very best to do well in studies in P1. So we’ll see ).ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

On the 7 June, hubs had to fly for a business trip. On days as such, I will have to send hubs to the office. This day Ryan tagged along because I had promised him a visit to the Planet Sains Negara for Dinos Alive Exhibition.
- In a Dino egg
- Ryan needed some help on the Giant Hamster Wheel
- Forced to pose. Mommy threatened him if he doesn’t cooperate, the Dino will eat him alive
He was a little intimidated by the dark surrounding and roars from the dinasours

The first time I brought Ryan to the cinema was before I gave birth to lil B. That was back in 2009 Dec. How time flies…
His second movie was Toys Story 3 back in June 2010.
This time, I brought him to watch Rio. Ryan truly enjoyed the show this time. We both had a good ‘bonding’Â time.
My cheeky boy

Whole afternoon: Homework / Free and Easy
6.00pm – Dinner
6.30pm – Outdoor activities (lately he’s into bicycling)
7.30pm – Bed time stories
8.00pm – Sleep baby sleep….
Saturday – Sunday
Saturday is one of mommy’s busiest day. Ryan has Art class in the morning followed by Darren’s Kindermusik and Ryan’s swimming at 4pm. Come Sunday, it’s usually more relaxing. Basically it’s just chil and play all day for the kids if we opt to stay in.
** Ryan has E-nopi twice a week (45 mins each), Mandarin Lesson 3 times a week, Art Class once a week and Swimming once a week. Hectic? Hahahah I think so. I’m tired from the chauffering but he seem to enjoy every session of it. At times, when I threaten to pull him out of any of the class, he will show me the sour face and say ‘Mommy, ä½ ä¹±ä¹±åƒµåŒ– (Mommy, NÇ luà n luà n jiÄnghuà ). That seem to be his favourite phrase now when he wants to show his dissatisfaction at me. And yes, lately he’s been speaking a lot of Mandarin with everyone. I’m pretty impressed with his progress just 8 months after signing him up with BaoBei. Literally from zero to fluency now. Mommy is so proud of you, baby.
Last Tuesday Ryan was absent from school due to an eye infection. Since his infection was not serious, we decided to go ahead with our prebooked movie “Rio”. It proved to be a wise decision as the movie was so good that even the noisiest kid in the whole town (Ryan) could sit still throughout the show watching and listening intently. Double thumbs up.
Some camwhoring outside Signature @ Gardens. We bought 2 tickets for 3 May 11.55am matinee show. We were the 2 out of 4 movie goers in the whole cinema. Love the bonding time.
