Mummy is having a Bad ‘Neck’ Day

@ 9 month 3 weeks 6 days

Ryan likes to toss and turn on bed when he sleeps at night. I am not sure if it was the air con being not cold enough or it was plain habit wanna torture his parents (heehee..).

Last night he did exactly the same.. toss and turn as usual and lately he has shown a preference for mummy’s pillow, last time was daddy’s. (Yesssss!!! happy happy. I like to believe he favours mummy more now).

He will somehow able to maneuver his position from vertically along us to horizontal. Despite my efforts to vertically align him back, the next thing we know he is back to his horizontal position. As a result, I have move outwards and outwards to make space for Ryan to perform his midnight stunts (the tossing and twisting) and the bad news is after nights of torture, this morning I woke up with a sprained neck. It got so bad that I have to take pain killers. Arrghh… this is what I call a Bad NECK DAY.

(sorry.. bad hand drawing here. Heehee…)

Ryan’s Fuss-Free Nap

@ 9 month 3 weeks 6 days

We ran out of mozzie patch and I was really desperate to get one. CNY is near; certainly do not want Ryan’s face to be decorated with mozzie bites (heehee.. excuse to go malling). So yesterday we attempted to go Mid Valley as I know this particular pharmacy sells the mozzie patches at heavily discounted price (RM8.30 instead of RM15.90). Unfortunately, as predicted, traffic was extremely heavy and we detoured to 1U instead but only to find out the pharmacy has no outlet there. Ceh…

So, ding ding dong dong we went malling at 1U. While strolling Ryan, I can see he was extremely sleepy. His sleepy eyes can beat Garfield’s and that somehow worries me. It has been awhile Ryan naps during an outing. And I was worried Ryan will fuss, will cry, will low gai .. etc etc etc.

Anyhow, after a while I soon realised I worried too much (as usual). Ryan fell asleep after a few sips of his favourite drink (Apple Prune Juice). It’s always so strange about babies. At home Ryan can go up to 5 hours without nap but somehow yesterday when music were loud, people were everywhere, Ryan showed sign of sleepiness after 3 hours and the transition from awake to sleep was surprisngly smooth and fuss-free.
Ryan tired and sleepy here

Tang, tang, tang, tang, Ryan in Zzzz-land

I have been teaching Ryan to give kiss kiss (yes, mouth to mouth type.. a bit unhygenic but arrgh.. bonding with my baby ma). Ryan of course still doesn’t know how to ‘muaks-muaks’ in return but he sure knows how to keep still and lean his face forward when mummy say kiss-kiss. Below, a wake up kiss I gave Ryan. He probably thought it was another *kiss-kiss*. See how big he opens his mouth. Hahahaa… (sorry for the low light. Pic a bit dark cos was taken in car)
