We bought 3 tickets and headed down to Shah Alam Staidum on the 8th October (Friday). Hubby was on leave that day. Traffic was kind on us. It took us less than half hour to reach the stadium. We figured it’ll be a good exposure for Ryan to see the real stars playing.
When we got there, the atmosphere were dull, the whole staidum was in such a sorry state. It was dirty, signage was poor, the whole stadium was poorly litted. What bad organiser!
Nevermind….
wait until we got to our seats and saw this…
We made numerous complaints but were all unheaded. Staff were telling us they can’t do anything, one staff pointed to another and after an hour or so of round robin between several parties, we gave up. We helped ourselves, moved two rows up and got ourselves well seated on the media seats (which were only half taken).
The show started at 8.30pm. It started with the men’s singles and the highlight of the show (Anna Kournikova) was towards the Mixed Doubles at the very last part of the show. By then, Ryan was tired and begging to leave. We watched one game and left before the show actually ended. *yawn*
