Treasure your loved ones

It saddens me a great deal, and I do mean a great great indescribable sorrow after reading this update on the affectionally known Feisty Princess Charmaine. My tears just welled up in my eyes. Little did I expect, a couple of hours after her mommy wrote that post, Charmaine bid her farewell to her loved ones. I guess even the almighty can’t bear to witness anymore suffering on the poor little princess. She suffered enough. Really enough. She was 6.

Now that brings me to ponder about the meaning of life. If you follow Charmaine’s blog, like me, you will most likely feel ashamed that while we are fretting over small trivial matters, little Charmaine’s wish was simply to stay alive, to be granted her well deserved sense of normalcy in life. She was barely 4 when she was diagnosed .

Unfortunately…..Life can be that cruel at times. No child should be subjected to all these and no parent should outlived their child too. NO NO NO!!!!

Nevertheless, she fought a remarkable battle. Her positiveness far exceeded her tiny age. She definitely lives behind a legacy.

If you’re like me, always fretting over trivial matters in life, just remember / Life is short and Life is fragile. If you haven’t done so today, please do yourself a favour, go give your loved ones a big hug, tell them how much you treasure and love them… ❤❤

And to the little warrior, may you rest in peace.

  1. i was devastated too when i read about Charmaine’s passing. I followed her blog for a while and then stopped because I can’t bear to read. What I can’t understand is why kids have to go through all these pain and suffering. It is heartbreaking. May she rest in peace and may God look after her mom and brother and keep them strong.
