Reaction to an Unknown Allergy

I woke up Sunday morning with a bad patch of rashes on my neck. It got really bad that I had gone on medical leave yesterday. The itch was simply killing. After medication and hydrocortisone cream (Hmmm.. I’m so familiar with the word hydrocortisone now.. *blehhh*) the redness and itch sort of ease a bit. *Phewww…*

Till now I cant figured out what went wrong nor the cause that triggers it. But just because of this bad episode, Ryan’s infantile eczema is now conveniently linked to mummy’s bad gene. Wah-Wah-Wah… (mummy also want to cry now).

Want to see how bad the rashes were? *wink-wink*

*Warning: Not for those ill hearted

  1. omg..serious red patch le..i suffered the allergy before, cured only after i consulted 8 doctors. if touch wood you want to find another good skin specialist, you tell me, i introduce one for you.

  2. looks bad. my hubby also the same, allergy comes without any reason. and it attacks the lips only. he uses the elomet cream (some kind of steroids), same as what smelly uses for this rashes.
Till today, still cannot find the source that triggers it, hubby says it is due to stress.. got such thing meh?:)
    hope yrs get better soon

  3. Wow…quite bad eh? Could it be something you put on i.e. cream or perfume. What about some herbal stuff? I know sometimes herbs can trigger allergies.

  4. HuiSia: Wow.. 8 doctors?? That’s serious. I’ll monitor mine for another day or two then really got to seek help already. Get the number fr u then…

Mag: Got wor.. When I saw the GP yesterday he said stress can also cause allergy. Maybe I’ll just assume it’s stress la.. good excuse to stay home and rest. :D

M2Chumsy: Hmm.. I drank lime + yong sum so tea on Sat. Not sure if that’s the reason. Oh, I also ate a lot of yam cake that day.

  5. Could it be partying and boozing too much from Saturday night out?? Hehee.. kidding! But some people could also get rashes from drinking alchoholic drinks. Or maybe something your ate… or worse case, bed mites??

  6. Eh, I had the same thing last time on my tummy because I applied the stretch mark cream. Then, before that I had it on my arms and thighs because I applied cellulite cream. The itch was torturing. I took antihistamine drug-zentel for quite some time.

  7. Hopefully, it gets better. Yup, I think the exzema is hereditary. I tend to have oversensitve skin now since I delivered Rowena and the poor gal also has Excema problem

  8. Oh dear! That looks pretty bad! Is it because of something you ate or applied to the neck? I hope you’ll recover soon! ;)
